Plug and Play digital technologies are network devices easily installed and used without configuration or specialised knowledge. They can help businesses save time and money and improve efficiency and productivity.
Phoenix Contact offers a wide range of Plug and Play Digital technologies, including unmanaged switches, patch panels, PoE injectors, and NearFi technology. These technologies can be used in a variety of manufacturing and infrastructure applications to automate processes, reduce maintenance, and inventory efforts, improve quality control, and reduce the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).
In the future, we can expect to see even more Plug and Play Digital technologies that will help businesses become more efficient, productive, and flexible.

Unmanaged switches 1000 and 1100
The FL SWITCH 1000 and 1100 series of unmanaged switches are the latest generation in our portfolio of unmanaged Ethernet switches. These switches are suitable for many automation applications and feature different transmission speeds and installation options.
Patch Panel
Patch panels serve as interface modules between the field and control cabinet cabling. The new DIN rail devices now also feature Push-in, IDC or screw connection, in addition to the traditional RJ45 connection. This can save you a great deal of time during installation. These are available as versions with integrated surge protection and shield current monitoring. The range is complemented by Power over Ethernet injectors, which can supply remote Ethernet devices with data and power via the same cable.
PoE Injector
Power over Ethernet injectors supply your devices in the field with data and power via just one cable. The various IDC, Push-in, or screw connection technologies significantly simplify the installation of the field cable. Versions with two RJ45 connections are also available.
NearFI Technology
NearFi is the new contactless real-time transmission technology from Phoenix Contact. Thanks to protocol-independent Ethernet communication, it offers flexible application options for any Ethernet protocol.
