In a few short weeks, policy, capital and technology will all converge at one of the Australian wind industry’s most anticipated gatherings of the year.

Set against the backdrop of Australia’s bold energy transition ambitions, Australia Wind Energy 2025 (#AuWE2025) will see more than 8000 professionals from more than 40 countries come together, offering attendees a rare opportunity to connect, collaborate and catalyse progress in one place.

The event is set to take place on 17–18 July 2025 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Wind industry in motion

Attendees at AuWE2025 are in for more than just a conference – they’ll be in the room where decisions are made and partnerships are formed.

From engineers and OEMs to policy advisors and project financiers, event attendees will represent the full spectrum of wind development.

This includes:

  • 200+ exhibitors showcasing the latest in wind turbine tech, transmission solutions, grid systems and offshore construction
  • 200+ speakers spanning regulatory, financial and operational expertise
  • Interactive content including the AuWE25 Strategic Summit, Offshore WindTech Summit, Unlocking Wind Capital, and the Regional Development Forum
  • Experiences such as the Port of Hastings Field Trip, Women in Net-Zero Future, and Startup Innovation Challenge sessions to add dimension and diversity

Topics that matter

At the core of AuWE2025 is a robust knowledge-sharing program that reflects the evolving challenges and opportunities in wind energy. Key topics include:

  • Charting the course through regulatory waters – forging Australia’s offshore wind energy future
  • Rating Australia’s wind energy market: can Australia transition from a global follower to a leader?
  • Building a reliable and affordable Australian wind energy supply chain – financing, technology, international cooperation, and local workforce
  • Firming Australia’s emerging wind power generation capabilities
  • A Future for Made in Australia – take advantage of wind-to-X and green metals
  • Streamlining the commercialisation of offshore wind projects
  • Optimising performance – realising sustained growth through smart planning and optimal operations
