AusNet Services will undertake the search for a new Chief Financial Officer, following the resignation of Adam Newman.

Mr Newman is leaving the company to take up another Chief Financial Officer role outside the energy sector.

AusNet Managing Director, Nino Ficca, said, “Adam has been AusNet Services’ Chief Financial Officer since March 2013. During this time, he has been instrumental in transforming AusNet Services’ finance functions, leading our organisational cost efficiency programs and our corporate restructure while providing valued advice and support to me and the executive team.

“Under Adam’s leadership, AusNet Services has successfully maintained a strong balance sheet during a period of significant asset growth and continued to increase shareholder returns.

We thank Adam for his passion and dedication to the company and wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”

Mr Newman’s last day with AusNet Services will be 20 September 2019 and a search process will immediately commence for his successor.
