Jemena has welcomed its new Managing Director, Frank Tudor, who commenced his role on Monday, 15 October 2018.

Mr Tudor said he was excited to be joining Jemena at what is a crucial time for both the business and the Australian energy sector more broadly.

“I look forward to joining Jemena at this important crossroad for the industry and getting to know the business, our people, customers, and other stakeholders,” Mr Tudor said.

“I am committed to ensuring Jemena continues to deliver electricity and gas safely and reliably to millions of Australians across the east coast, while also placing downward pressure on energy transportation costs for our customers.

“Jemena is a diverse company and I am excited by the opportunity to lead an organisation which is bringing technologically innovative solutions to the energy market, as well as much needed additional gas as part of Jemena’s Northern Gas Pipeline and Northern Growth Strategy.”

Mr Tudor also acknowledged Paul Adams – Jemena’s retiring Managing Director – for his commitment to the business and achievements over the last decade.

“Throughout his tenure Paul oversaw the substantial expansion of Jemena’s distribution and transmission assets, reoriented the business to place customers and the community at the heart of Jemena, and significantly improved safety and service reliability while lowering prices.

“He has left a strong legacy which I look forward to building on.”

Mr Tudor is a recognised energy industry leader and has held various senior executive roles over the last 30 years in the international oil, gas, and power industries. Before joining Jemena as Managing Director, Frank was Managing Director at Horizon Power in Western Australia.
