Haier was recently front and centre at the Australian Open, as the Official TV and Home Appliance partner of Tennis Australia.

The company recently launched its new solar products, in addition to its existing stable of heat pump hot water and air conditioning.

On-court, the sponsorship saw Haier take up one of the premium branding positions for the tournament, with its logo boldly and prominently emblazoned up each side of the umpire’s chair at centre court.

During the Australian Open, Melbourne Park is a hive of activity with more than 1.2 million people attending matches and enjoying all the attractions and activations that surround this type of marquee global event.

The company’s whole-of-home showroom drew visitors in to interact with a full suite of Haier appliances including solar, as well as the opportunity to meet and speak with brand representatives and engage in a number of Haier branded skill games for a chance to win Haier appliances and prize packs.

Within the on-site activation, Haier was able to showcase its whole-of-home ecosystem, where heating and cooling, water heating, solar generation and storage and home appliances all work within the same branded system.

The seamless solar solution offers a unified solar platform tailored to both residential and commercial needs. Haier delivers panels, batteries and inverters from a single supplier, removing the need for multiple partners, warranties and customer care contacts.

Backed by Haier’s trusted warranties, you can confidently begin your solar journey.

Visitors even had the opportunity to climb into a Haier branded umpire’s chair themselves to take pictures and experience what the view is like for those making the tough calls during the day’s play.

A Haier pop up in Federation Square in Melbourne connected the city to the tennis, while also providing a cool, air-conditioned space for a respite from the heat.

In addition to the Australian Open, the ongoing partnership with Tennis Australia will see more collaborations with tennis throughout the year, including grassroots and community initiatives.

Haier has added the Australian Open to an already enviable list of global tennis sponsorships which are elevating the brand globally.
