Energy Networks Australia has appointment a new Chief Executive Officer, following the departure of John Bradley.

Energy Networks Australia Chairman, Nino Ficca, announced the decision to appoint Andrew Dillon as CEO after a comprehensive executive search and competitive selection process throughout Australia.

“Mr Dillon has held senior roles in advocacy and policy development in the energy sector, most recently General Manager Corporate Affairs at AusNet Services,” Mr Ficca said.

“We are pleased to have someone of Mr Dillon’s experience lead Energy Networks Australia at this crucial time as energy network businesses work to collaboratively progress opportunities that changing technology and services offer our customers.

“Our focus is on delivering a future energy system that will provide security, affordability and sustainability for all Australians.

“We are confident that Mr Dillon will drive forward Energy Networks Australia’s contribution to the national debate on these issues,” Mr Ficca said.

Mr Dillon has been the Interim CEO of Energy Networks Australia since September 2017.

Prior to AusNet Services, Andrew was General Manager Corporate Affairs at the Energy Supply Association of Australia, worked in Corporate and Government Affairs at TRUenergy (now Energy Australia) and was a Senior Ministerial Adviser.

Mr Dillon’s appointment follows the departure of John Bradley who has been appointed as Secretary of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning in Victoria.

“Mr Bradley led Energy Networks Australia through a significant period of change, as our industry seeks to transform itself to enable the customer-driven future of energy. We thank Mr Bradley for his service and wishes him well in his new role,” Mr Ficca said.
