Industry feedback is being sought on The Energy Charter consultation draft.

The Energy Charter is a whole of energy sector initiative focused on embedding consumer-minded culture and conduct in energy businesses to create tangible improvements in price and service delivery.

The Energy Charter is a principles-based disclosure regime that can be applied to all businesses across the gas and electricity supply chains.

Adoption is voluntary, and all energy businesses are encouraged to join.

Those who commit to the Energy Charter will agree to publicly identify how they are delivering against the Charter Principles and providing positive outcomes for customers.

The Energy Charter Consultation Draft is available here.

Please send your feedback to Emma Watts at emma.watts@theenergycharter.com.au by 17 October 2018.
