The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is conducting a collaborative co-design process for the development of a national consumer energy resources data exchange (CER Data Exchange).

The CER Data Exchanged will be developed in partnership with AusNet, with the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) supporting the initiative through a grant from its Advancing Renewables Program.

Through an industry co-design process, the project partners will collaborate with industry and consumer stakeholder groups to develop a high-level design for a national CER Data Exchange and Implementation Roadmap that will provide a digital foundation for a future where integrated CER is a key part of an affordable, zero emissions and reliable electricity system.

AEMO encourages all interested parties to participate by sharing their insights via email to cerdataexchange@aemo.com.au by 5:00pm (AEDT), Thursday 21 November.
